Stillcurrent

MCP server and REST API for your agents

Architecture docs that stay current

Your coding agents write and update the docs, C4 diagrams and runbooks of your system. Every change is checked, versioned and rendered for the engineers and architects who read it.

  • Markdown and Mermaid
  • Every edit undoable
  • Export as .zip

How it works

From a prompt to a page your team can trust

Stillcurrent sits between your agents and your readers. Agents get tools; readers get documentation that matches the code they are about to change.

  1. Connect your agent

Add the MCP server to Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code, or call the REST API. Tokens can be limited to the projects an agent should touch.

    /api/mcp
  2. Agents write the docs

Agents create and update Markdown with Mermaid and C4 diagrams. check_markdown parses every diagram with the same renderer your team reads with.

    update_document
  3. Your team reads them

Engineers and architects get clean pages with a contents sidebar, zoomable diagrams and the history of every change.

Why Stillcurrent

Docs your agents can change and your team can rely on

Plain Markdown in, a careful reading experience out, and a safety net under every change.

  • C4 diagrams that read clearly

Connectors are routed around boxes, labels stay off them and aligned boxes get straight lines. Zoom, pan and expand any diagram.

  • Every agent edit is undoable

Each overwrite keeps the previous version. Compare any two versions and restore the one you want.

  • One project per system

Group a system’s docs into a project, link pages to each other and export the whole set as a zip.

  • Read-only share links

Share a document or a whole project with people who have no account. Revoke a link at any time.

  • Scoped access for agents

API tokens can be limited to the projects an agent works on. Everything else stays invisible to it.

  • Made for reading

IBM Plex typography, light and dark themes, a comfortable measure, highlighted code and callouts.

For your agents

Plug in the agent you already use

One command connects Claude Code. Create a token under Settings, paste it in, and ask your agent to document the system it is working on. Copy-ready setups for other clients are in Settings too.

Write a C4 container diagram of this repo and keep it current

Let the docs move as fast as the code

Give your agents a place to keep the architecture written down, and give your team a reason to read it.
